Our community has numerous recreational opportunities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing, and the walking trail.

Pool

Our pool renovation was completed in the Spring of 2010.  You must have a key card to access the pool area.  Please contact Janie Deming at the clubhouse (830-5155) if you need a key card.  The gate to the pool locks at 10:00 pm.  Your key card will not let you in or out after 10:00, so please be sure to leave prior to this time.

Please close umbrellas when they are not in use.  Sudden winds can occur at any time of the day.  Some years, many umbrellas are damaged and must be replaced, but we have had better luck this summer due to the heavier tables and your help remembering to close the umbrellas.  Misuse of the pool area, including climbing the fence, will result in suspension of pool privileges, plus other penalties if damage occurs.  Thanks for your help in keeping our pool a fun and safe place for our entire community!

The complete rules for our community pool are available: Highland Lakes Community Pool Rules

Tennis Courts

The tennis courts are open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.  The nets were replaced in June 2010.  The complete rules for the community tennis courts are available: Highland Lakes Tennis Court Rules

Fishing

Our lakes have a variety of fish in them, as well as a few turtles.  Fishing is allowed by Highland Lakes Homeowner’s Association members and their guests.  Guests are limited to two (2) and must be accompanied by Highland Lakes Homeowner’s Association member.  Swimming is not allowed in the lakes.  Additionally, no boats are allowed in the lakes at any time.  Please help keep the lakes and surrounding areas litter-free.

Walking Trail

A paved walking trail provides a scenic path around the front lakes.  Please do not litter along the trail.  Leashed pets are welcome on the trail, but pet owners must clean up after their animals per Madison City ordinance.
